Students are our CORE, and every day we strive to promote this lifestyle through the CORE model of citizenship: “giving back to the world” (Community); “educating for life” (Opportunities); “exercising for strong body and mind” (Recreation); and “promoting a green lifestyle” (Environment). Campus Living Village communities and Adelphi Commons II incorporate elements of environmentally responsible living by using recycled materials when appropriate, by encouraging citizen participation in “recycling programs”; by offering green space in community design and using energy efficient light bulbs and appliances when appropriate.
