Students are our CORE, and every day we strive to promote this lifestyle through the CORE model of citizenship: “giving back to the world” (Community); “educating for life” (Opportunities); “exercising for strong body and mind” (Recreation); and “promoting a green lifestyle” (Environment). Campus Living Village communities and Adelphi Commons II incorporate elements of environmentally responsible living by using recycled materials when appropriate, by encouraging citizen participation in recycling programs, by offering green space in community design and using energy efficient light bulbs and appliances when appropriate.
